I was dumped at the Johnson County Animal Shelter when my owner said I got to rough when we were playing! Gee we were wrestling, but I guess I was suppose to let the humans win but I have learned different! I was so terrified at the shelter that they thought I was aggressive but lucky for me one of the shelter workers cared enough to call Harlequin Haven and they said they would take me!!! The next day 2 volunteers arrived to transport me to the rescue, they told me it would be okay and I believed them!

I am settling in here at the rescue and I have other dogs to play with and all is good! Grandma says I have to learn how to walk on a leash so every day I practice how not to drag Grandma down the hall!

I am now ready for adoption, although I still am very strong and love to pull people down the hall I am doing much better. I love to hear myself talk and I love to play rough so Grandma says I am not for a first time Dane owner.

Please can you spare a few dollars to help the Rescue continue to help me and other Danes like me? It would be greatly  appreciated. Without the Rescue who knows where we would have ended up!!
